At the end of 2013, Biman Bangladesh announced that it would be retiring its final Douglas DC-10-30 aircraft, S2-ACR. Many enthusiasts expressed an interest in celebrating the life of the aircraft, and soon Biman announced that they would fly the aircraft to Birmingham Airport, from Dhaka via Kuwait, to operate a full weekend of 'scenic tours.'

These scenic tours ran over 3 days from February 22nd-24th, and involved a 1 hour flight routing towards Scotland and back on Biman's final DC-10-30. Here, we see S2-ACR pushing back from Stand 86 at Birmingham Airport and departing from runway 15,
