CHART-topping pop star Pharrell Williams took time out of his schedule to praise members of the Irish Defence Forces in Birmingham yesterday.
The Air Corps AW139 team successfully transferred a Dublin patient to the West Midlands for life saving treatment on Monday morning (July 7).
They made the journey from Casement Aerodrome in Dublin to Birmingham Airport in less than an hour and after completing their mission found themseleves in the same airport as the Happy singer, who stopped to congratulate them on a ‘job well done’.
Pharrell Williams was at Birmingham’s first Wireless Festival - the biggest music festival ever held in the city - has been hailed a huge success. Kanye West closed the three day party in Perry Park in style.
