First Concorde visit to BHX 16/09/1980

16th Sepetember 2013

First Concorde visit to BHX drew a crowd. She seems so modern next to the cars of the day. Sadly lost 20 years later. The brown building on left was a cafe for spotters. As kids we played football in this area - best of both worlds!

Clarkgore's second trip to Renfrew (Glasgow Airport) in a BEA Viscount. The old terminal building can be clearly seen along with two Vickers Viscount and a DC-6 (perhaps Spanish)on the apron.

This DC3 C47 (G-ANEG) was owned by Don Everall Airways. Footage appears to be from a Midlands Airport and the plane was possibly taking passengers off on a package holiday to Spain. I appologise for the poor quality video footage... the original 8mm film version is much clearer.
