RBH has created a new communications campaign to bring Birmingham Airport front of mind in the global aviation and tourism markets. The campaign positions the airport as central to its clients’ business needs.

Building on the airport’s existing Hello World brand proposition, the Centre of Your World campaign launched in September at the World Routes Global Forum 2016, hosted in Sichuan Province, China. The forum itself brought together over 3,000 delegates, 300 airlines, 700 airports and 130 tourist authorities.

Core to the campaign is a brand film showcasing the airport and its facilities, as well as the wider West Midlands region and its future potential. The film was created using footage overlaid with infographic animations to communicate the breadth of information in an impactful manner, and resonate with a global audience.

In addition to the brand film, the Centre of Your World campaign made use of a number of channels to maximise engagement for the event, including trade press, brochures, online advertising, exhibition panels, DM and delegate promotions (in both English and Mandarin).
