Birmingham Airport Hello World Branding


Birmingham Airport have redesigned their website to better highlight its ‘Hello World’ brand which launched five years ago.

Beth Gawthorpe, marketing manager at Birmingham Airport, explained responsiveness has also been key as traffic to the site from mobile devices has grown to 60 per cent since 2010.

“The previous website was not designed for mobile platforms so the trigger point to develop a new website was due to customers not having an optimum experience on their mobiles and tablets,” Gawthorpe added that the next phase of will see the development of a mobile app and wayfinding service.  “That will enable a seamless digital journey from researching and booking on the website to physically arriving and departing through the airport itself,” she said.
