*RARE!* Turkish Airlines Airbus A330-343X TC-JNK at Birmingham Airport (BHX-EGBB) with ATC

Today's video is of a Turkish Airlines A330-300 making its first appearance at Birmingham Airport on a one-off charter from Istanbul. Date Filmed: 19th December 2014 Reg: TC-JNK c/n;1172. Watch as the aircraft approaches right over our heads to land on Runway 33 at Birmingham, and then taxi to stand 55C. It then taxies back out just after midday to depart home to Istanbul. The reason for the upgrade is believed to be because of heavy Christmas load factors. As always, full ATC communications have been included to make the video more enjoyable for the viewers. I have also included some other clips, such as the Emirates 777 & a Lufthansa A321 in the video. The Emirates 777 landed just as the Turkish A333 was at the holding point, so it was nice seeing two heavies at such close proximity at Birmingham Airport. A like would be very appreciated as it was a very long day from start to finish, but was definitely worth it! This aircraft was built and delivered to Turkish in 2010 and is named 'Sanliurfa.' *Rare* Turkish Airlines A330-343 Landing and Takeoff - Birmingham Airport - Beautiful Winter Day

Normally Turkish Airlines send an A321 or B738 on the Istanbul - Birmingham run, but on this rare occasion they sent an A330. To make it even better, an A330-300! Here it is landing and taking off at BHX, Central England.

On the 19th of December 2014 my mate and I headed up to Birmingham International Airport (BHX/EGBB) nice and early to catch the very rare Turkish Airlines Airbus A330-343. A smooth train journey and a pleasant cycle later, we arrived at the spotting location. Not long after we had set up THY9JQ made contact with Birmingham Radar. This was the first phase of all the ATC recordings made between the aircraft and the controllers during arrival, which are included in the video. I'll let the video show you just how stunning the morning was. You'll see the A333 land, taxi to stand, taxi for departure, and takeoff on runway 33. Notice in this video the runway extension was finished, so when aircraft use S1 (New Holding Point) you can get a great shot of them taxying around.
