Work on the runway extension is virtually halted by the snow, as you can see from the idle excavators and dump trucks etc scattered around the south of the site.

Includes: Emirates 777, Thomas Cook and Thomson 757's, First Choice 767, Easyjet A319 and Turkmenistan 737.

RAF C-17 casualty evacuation flight

Most of the UK Forces' casualties in Afghanistan are flown by RAF Aeromedical Evacuation teams to Birmingham Airport, and then moved to hospital in Birmingham. This video shows the arrival and departure (probably to its base at Brize Norton) of a Boeing C-17 of 99 Squadron at BHX in January 2013.
